On January 15th 2009 US Airways Flight 1549, operating an Airbus A320-214 was cleared for take from New York’s LaGuardia Airport at 15:24:56, from Runway 4. At 15:31 the Airbus A320 was floating in the Hudson River.
The “Miracle On The Hudson” is now quite famous and the flight’s crew has become national heroes, in the US, and heroes among the airline industry. While we’ve all seen graphics of the incident, listened to audio clips of the events as they occurred, a new animated combination of visual-and-audio puts the moments leading up Flight 1549 into a new perspective.
