Since Boeing first launched it short-lived Connexion by Boeing service on the 17th of May 2004 airlines have been trying to sort out how to generate revenue through offering in-flight wireless internet to passengers.

I have been researching in-flight internet revenue generating concepts since first using in-flight wifi on Lufthansa back in 2005 and today I discuss how airlines need to approach in-flight wifi revenue streams in my guest post on Flight Global’s Runway Girl column.
