Very early this morning, just after midnight Eastern Time (GMT -5) my FTP was hacked by a spammer. While this hack did not affect what you see on BoardingArea.com in any way, it did affect all e-mail into and out of FlyingWithFish.com, and the gateway web address into FlyingWithFish.com
Should any of you received an e-mail from any of my e-mail addresses proclaiming that you have won the lottery, that I need to transfer $25,000,000 into your bank account or asking for your banking details, please disregard this e-mail immediately.
I spent quite a few hours this morning (if it really the morning if the sun hasn’t come up yet?) sorting out this problem with my web hosting company. BlueHost.com was fantastic about helping me find the source of the problem, immediately stopping all flow in and out of my FTP, and getting me back up and running fairly quickly.
…so with this minor glitch out of the way, Flying With Fish is back up and flying again.
