18/06/2009 – iPhone ‘App’ Of The Week : TweetDeck
The vast majority of iPhone Apps I write about are specifically for travellers & travelling or of interest to travelling enthusiasts. There have been some limited exceptions, such as the ever useful iPhone App ‘Lightsaber‘…but now there is one other iPhone App I’d like to add to the non-travel specific list.
A few days ago TweetDeck was released for the iPhone. As an avid follower of airlines, airports, travel industry experts and plenty of photographers on Twitter I have been enjoying TweetDeck on my laptops for a few months. TweetDeck for iPhone is essentially identical to the interface I have become accustomed to on my Macs and even allows users to sync the TweetDeck columns between the iPhone and PC.
As TweetDeck for the iPhone is not a travel related iPhone App I won’t go much into the details, but for any Twitterers (is that a word?) who Twit/Tweet/Twitter from their iPhone TweetDeck in one day has eclipsed the two iPhone Twitter Apps I had been using and blown the doors off of TwitterBerry on my Blackberry.
