The new American Airlines paint job … yay or nay?
American Airlines will officially unveil its new aircraft livery in 15 minutes, at 9:00am CST, replacing their decades old classic livery … change can be good or bad.

The entire thing is absolutely hideous from every angle… nothing about it works in harmony, this trend towards billboard style liveries on aircraft is immature childish, ridiculous. Class is obviously something that only bored those in school who decided to change an iconic image of the industry into an airborne abortion.

I was very disappointed at the new tail design on Your fleet. At a
glance it appears that no effort or thought went into this design, to be honest it seems rather messy
From an Aircraft Painter point of view… Worst livery ever!.
Overly complicated gradient on the tail… And the 3 stage Mica on the fuselage is the hardest to match and maintain after repairs… Its going to cost them a lot in maintenance… I know, I have had the pleasure of doing paint repairs on them already
